MUMS AND BUBS COME DANCE!

Welcome to the new Wednesday morning MUMS & BUBS DANCE class in Stroud!

Facilitated by Maria-Carin Gala from Come Dance Stroud’s Sunday morning dances, plus guests.

Local new mothers asked for a dance class like this, so here it is.

TIME: 10-11:30 am

LOCATION: Trinity Rooms Community Hub, Field Road, Stroud, GL5 2HZ

PRICE: Sliding scale £7/£10/£12 at the door

You are warmly invited to come with your baby and have the opportunity to move your body to groovy tunes that are slightly quieter to accommodate little one’s ears and perhaps tired mummies ones too. Don’t worry though, the music choice is for grown-ass humans who love to dance!

Guest facilitators such as Iona McNeil will be offering her passion for bringing us together in a safe, playful and connected way. This is going to be a lush combo.

May this be a time and space for you to honour your body, mind and soul, and at the same time still tend to your newborn or little one. Perhaps even introduce them to the sway of your hips and find each other's rhythms.

This is for mums and bubs but if you have small children that want to come and play on the side you’re welcome to bring them along. You just have to keep an eye on them as we don’t.
There is a sofa area for relaxing or for children to play. There is also a little pocket park right next door which is nice in warmer weather if you need a moment of escape.

There are a few parking spots out front but parking in nearby streets is easy and free.

This is not just for dancing but also for meeting other mothers or carers, having time away from daily life chores, and moving from your head into your body in good company guided by delicious music.
Community coming together.
A kind of movement prayer that aims to nourish and satisfy but also ignite and fuel you.
Oh and it’s good exercise too!

Dads, carers, nannies, grandparents are of course welcome too but we assumed that it will be mostly mothers and their new borns who will attend. Let's see how this unfolds and we will accommodate the community need. Thank you for your patience while we grow together.

10.15-10.3 am guided movement (with Iona)
10.30-11 am free dance (DJ MC Gala)
11-11.30 am social time, shared snacks
