— dance, trance and ritual with Adam Barley and MC Gala

A weekend of movement, dance and mask work, investigating the layers of our being that lie below ‘normal’. By entering into the shadow zones, the places we’ve denied or exiled, we can recover the vitality, sensitivity and wisdom hidden there. 

Through creative exploration of the shadow, light emerges naturally to bring back home, empowering us to move through our ordinary days with a deeper sense of the magic and mystery of life in every moment.

Some of our time will be spent making masks, and discovering what they reveal when moving with them. 

As husband and wife, the exploration of the shadow is more or less daily practice for us, on-going work in progress. We’re delighted to share some of what we’ve found with you. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions about the work. 

To take part, you will need some previous experience of improvised dance or embodiment practices, and have some capacity and support to integrate strong transformational processes.
